Prototyping :

Prototyping at Hamilton By Design offers:
  • Prototypes incite communication about a concept, idea and or product stakeholders where there is an opportunity to that or input more of a personal stake to the process. If a user is presented with an early version of a system that has had substantial development work, they are more reluctant to criticize it an external set of eyes or prospective outside the development offers a more honest assessment.
  • Prototypes general have boundary conditions or a design brief that complies with the desired outcomes of the client.
  • Physical testing of prototypes have the advantage of grounding the discussion during a user session, making the sure the session does not get too much off track.
  • Not only can the prototype function as a discussion medium between designer and user but also between the members of the design team. Thus, prototypes may help facilitate work across disciplinary borders, bringing together a disparate team.
  • Prototypes incite and legalise experimentation as they are inexpensive to alter.
  • A greater focus on content, functionality and feel remove attention away from details of graphic design or an artistic impression.
  • Formal approval of the design from both manufactures and the client before you proceed to the development stage
